Equity REITs raise ~10% more capital in H1’23 (NYSEARCA:XHB)

Equity REITs raised ~10% more capital in H1’23 from last year, data from the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts showed.
The industry raised $30.21B in H1’23, compared to $27.53B in H1’22.
A total of $5.54B worth of capital offerings took place in June, and $7.99B worth in May.
Majority of the H1’23 activity involved secondary unsecured debt offerings, with the sector having raised $21.63B through debt offerings, according to the data.
