Korea 5th in business environment
The World Bank has placed Korea 5th in the world in business environment, giving the country high marks for conveniences like power supply, legal settlement and easy administrative system. It’s a step down from last year’s ranking, but still the highest among G20 nations.

한국이 ‘선진국 사교클럽’으로 불리는 OECD에 가입한 지 올해로 20년이 되었다. 지난 1996년, OECD의 29번째 회원국이 되면서 선진국 진입 관문을 통과했는데… 그 사이 GDP는 2배 이상, 수출 규모는 4배 이상 늘어나면서 한국은 가파른 성장을 이룬 상황! OECD 가입 20주년의 의미와 함께 앞으로 한국 경제가 나아가야 할 방향을 제시해본다.
